Team Retreat

In the first week of March Rachel, Zuzka, Lucka and Lenka met in Malenovice hotel to spend 24 hours of intense team work. Originally we were planning to go to Olomouc to visit Agnes and to spend our retreat there but her little Klara had been sick for a while and Agnes wasn't feeling well either. But she was able to join us through Skype for all the important part of our meeting.
It was a busy meeting but we believe that the Lord was in control and was guiding us in His Spirit. We talked about our vision and goals, we put together an overall timeframe for 2009, then discussed Eve to Eve project, new Bible study material for small groups, the counseling seminar, a new education program for women called Eunike, Women conference, local ministry and small groups, partnerships and we also had time to share testimonies and pray together.

Our special guest was Lenka Kratochvilova. We are praying and hoping that she would be able to join our team maybe sometime next year. It has been great to have her with us. Her role in the team we came with was "consultant volunteer".
The things that you can pray for with us are events that we planned for next year - the counselling seminar (November 2009), Women ministry team training (November 2009), Women's conference(January 2010) - to find the theme and main speaker and ongoing Eve to Eve retreats on purity and Internship program for leaders. We need God's wisdom and guidance. We need to look for new ways to support Women's ministry and find partners for ministry for each of us. We all also want to be rooted in the Word and abide an intimate relationship with Jesus.
