Eve to Eve retreat in Prague

In January we had another Eve to Eve retreat for girls where they could talk openly about sexuality, dating, relationships and the biblical perspective on these issues. These two days long retreats help young women to build non-formal relationships with older women from their communities and to make some important decisions about their approach to sexuality. Many girls can start the process of healing from the wounds of their sexual past and accept themselves through understanding God’s unconditional acceptance.

Materials

We "dedicated" the beginning of this year to creating materials for women leaders to use them at the women´s small groups or different events. Lucka works on the a biblical study of the Epistle of James. Leah writes a manual for youth leaders "Experiencing God" - organizing a retreat just for girls with experiential learning. There is also "The Conference Manual" available. Katka put it together out of our experiences. ALSO a possibility to translate "the Eve to Eve Program on Purity" to English and to other 10 languages of Josiah Venture countries (Slovakian, Ukrainian, Polish, Slovinian, Estonian, Latvian, Rumanian, Croatian, Albanian). This way it could be used in all these coutries - easilly. Multiplying the resources.

Visiting women in their churches

It is great joy to see women serving other women in their church. These are women from the Brethern church in Vsetin whose desire is to see the women they disciple grow in the relationship with Christ and expect them to disciple others when the time comes.
