Ministry update - New deal

After 3 years of existence of our team we would like to inform you about the new developement in women’s ministry. We are in the middle of many changes. A lot of those are connected with a ministry/job switch or a decreasing involvement of the team members in Josiah Venture ministry. After searching and praying for several months we experience that God is showing us the new direction for women’s ministry and that is why we decided to narrow down ministry focus.
Starting in July 2008 Women’s ministry will be focusing on Eve to Eve project (12 to 25 years old girls and women as target group). This project includes not only Eve to Eve retreats about sexual purity, dating and self acceptance, but also developing the ministry of Eve to Eve women counselors who assist to women in local churches in preparing the retreat itself and their goal is to help them follow-up in spiritual motherhood. Because of the new ministry focus Josiah Venture team in Czech will be strengthened by Zuzka Vačkářová who will be working for Eve to Eve project. The project has been supported through different grants.

Also on the 14th and 15th of November there will be an Eve to Eve conference about Spiritual motherhood (main theme). The conference is intended especially for women who have been serving at different Eve to Eve retreats. The capacity of the conference will be limited. In the present situation we don’t have the capacity or plan and organize our „traditional“ January Women’s Conference. If the conference or any other area of the Women’s ministry (teaching, counselling, training women leaders, writing materials,…) lays on your heart and you would like to get involved, let us know.
